Dr. Kang is a double board-certified plastic dermatologist renowned for his expertise in aesthetic surgery and personalized, innovative patient care at Cellon Clinic.
Dr. Kang’s Role as an Expert and Educator
Dr. Kang’s medical career spans Korea, Singapore, China, and Southeast Asia, giving him a truly global perspective on dermatology and aesthetic medicine. After earning his M.D. and M.Sc. degrees from Inje University College of Medicine, Dr. Kang completed his dermatology residency and academic appointments at Inje University Medical Center, where he continues to contribute as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
Board-certified by the Korean Society of Dermatology, Dr. Kang has held medical licenses in multiple countries, including Korea, Singapore, China (Shanghai, Sichuan, Beijing), and Vietnam—an achievement that reflects both his clinical excellence and international trust in his expertise. He further refined his surgical skills as a Clinical Fellow at the Singapore National Skin Centre, one of Asia’s leading dermatologic institutions.
Actively engaged in academic medicine, Dr. Kang has published peer-reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals such as Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, and Acta Dermato-Venereologica, with a particular focus on thread lifting techniques, fat grafting, and minimally invasive aesthetic innovations tailored to Asian patients. His work on vertical lifting and advanced PDO thread configurations is widely cited and applied in clinical practice.
As a sought-after educator and speaker, Dr. Kang has delivered lectures and live demonstrations across Asia and Europe, including Hong Kong, China, Russia, Hungary, Italy, Poland, and the Philippines. He has trained physicians on advanced procedures such as thread lifting, PRP and plasma gel therapy, cryolipolysis, VASER liposuction, and fat grafting, contributing to the global standardization of safe and effective aesthetic techniques.
In addition to his academic and educational roles, Dr. Kang serves as President of the Cellon Medical Group and holds key leadership positions within the Korean Dermatologic Association, including Director of the Scientific Committee and Director of Publications. Through these roles, he continues to shape clinical guidelines, research dissemination, and physician education in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
